The Machine That Learns
UNIT-07 wakes up on a dead world. You never drive it.
You write its program — a short list of rules it follows on its own: where to dig, when to come home, what to sell, when to stop and recharge. Then you watch what that program actually does over an hour of its life.
The machine keeps score. It forms beliefs about what pays, out of what really happened to it, and once it knows enough it starts running its own experiments to find out whether your program is the best one available. It will tell you when it isn't.
In this demo
- Five stages of evolution, from a rusted salvage rover to a semi-autonomous industrial unit
- A rule-based program you build and rewrite, and a machine that wears out, repairs itself and runs out of power if you let it
- Mining, refining, crafting, a modular body you assemble piece by piece
- Beliefs and experiments: the learning layer, unlocked at stage 4
- First flight: build an orbital yard, reach another planet, land on it — that is where the demo ends
- Roughly an hour to reach the end
- English, Italiano, Français, Español

The full version continues past stage 5 with terraforming, a planetary network and the rest of the galaxy.
